Unirisc Group is committed to making its contribution to sustainable development and creating a balance between economic efficiency, respect for the environment and social solidarity, in an effort to meet the needs of current generations without compromising the quality of life of future generations. Putting this resolution into practice involves raising employee awareness and changing habits and practices while at the same time maintaining a sense of balance and well-being at work. It entails combining reasonable and fair conditions with social and cultural diversity. Unirisc Group also implements a purchasing policy based on ecological and social factors, which applies not only to the company’s employees but also to its partners, suppliers, clients and investors. Unrisc Group employees have signed up to simple and practical steps:

Ecological footprint:
  • Extensive use of recycled paper,
  • Use of documents printed on both sides,
  • Systematic sorting of waste,
  • Use of crockery instead of disposable containers,
  • Use of biodegradable cleaning products.

Corporate culture and well-being:
  • Promotion of part-time working,
  • Organisational and financial promotion of professional, language or academic training,
  • Practice of direct and transparent communication (internally and externally),
  • Participation in sports, cultural or social events,
  • Provision of fresh local fruit and vegetables during breaks,
  • Organisation of sports activities during lunch breaks,
  • Participation in the bike to work campaign.

Mobility:
  • Electric bikes are available to people wanting to travel to appointments in the city,
  • The use of public transport is encouraged and co-funded,
  • A project promoting teleworking is underway.

Quality:
  • Unirisc has been a member of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) since 2004 and obtained “Committed to Excellence” certification in 2006. As advocated by the EFQM model, the CSR dimension is present in all key processes and indicators.
  • Unirisc collaborates with Fondation Trajets – http://www.trajets.org – on implementation of CSR indicators for the insurance market.
